The bar at the Rock Inn holds the secret of the pub’s name and you will also find the best kept local beers, superb wines from around the globe and the comfort to enjoy them while you consider your meal. Our ever-changing blackboard menus feature the best and most succulent cuts of Westcountry meat, locally caught fish and scrumptious puddings. Everything served at the Rock Inn is fresh: freshly supplied, prepared and cooked to individual order.

You can eat in the bar, where dogs are welcome, or you can try our non-smoking bistro-style restaurant. The menus are the same for both in terms of standards and choice, it’s just a question of what atmosphere you choose. In the bar there is a big log fire in winter, pretty candles and, of course, The Rock ... the very stuff the building is made of makes a striking feature.

And it’s a proper bar at the Rock Inn so we have a dartboard which doesn’t interfere with the tables and a pool room; the latter is an attractively decorated room at the back of the house with its own jukebox - ideal for fractious kids when all parents want to do is enjoy their meal.
